Create Shared step

This page guides you through the process of creating standardized steps that can be reused across multiple test cases, ensuring consistency and efficiency in your testing strategy.

Step 1: Click on the "Create shared step" button

Click on the button "Create shared step" to open the setup form where you can input details and configure your shared step.

Step 2: Complete the Shared step details

In the new window, fill in the required fields—Name, Step Description, and Expected Result—to define your shared step.

Step 3: Add or save your shared step

In the same window, you can either add another step by filling in the required fields or click "Create" to finalize and store your shared step.

Step 4: Manage multiple shared steps

If you add more than two shared steps, you'll see an option to delete any of them. Click the trash icon next to the step you wish to remove.

Step 5: Click on the "Create" button

Don’t forget to click the "Create" button to save your changes!

Good Job! You’ve successfully created your shared steps.
