# How to Archive?

## Archive a single shared step

<summary>Step 1: Go to list of Shared Steps and click on the kebob icon - there you can find the edit button</summary>

A window will appear on the right side.

A small menu will appear with three options. Click on "Archive" to move the item to the archived list.

## Archive multiple shared steps

<summary><strong>Step 1: Select the Shared Steps</strong></summary>

Use the checkboxes to select the multiple shared steps you want to archive.

<summary>Step 2: Archive the Selected Steps</summary>

Choose the "Unarchive" option on the bottom side of the page.

Your Organization will not be able to use Archived Shared Steps in new Test Cases until they are Unarchived. This will not affect current Test Cases using these Shared Steps already.

<summary>Step 3: Confirm the Archiving</summary>

A confirmation message will appear asking if you are sure you want to archive the shared steps. Confirm your choice.

After archiving, the list will refresh to show the shared steps have been moved to the Archived list.
