Adding Fields

Whether you are creating a Test Case within one of TestFiesta's standard templates, or using your own custom template, you can add as many fields as you require (aside from the template's unique fields)

There are two types of fields you can add. Standard fields provided by TestFiesta, or Custom fields you can make. This page will show you how to add both.

Standard Fields

Step 1: Click the "Actions" button and hover over "Add Standard Field"

Step 2: Choose the standard field you wish to add

Custom Fields

Step 1: Click the "Actions" button and click "Add new custom field"

This will bring up the "Create custom field" page and allow you to make a name for the field and determine what data type is required.

Step 2: Fill in name and Data type

Step 3: Click "Create"

Now that your Custom field is created, it will appear in existing custom fields for you to add at any time.

Organization Admins can also create custom fields to be used widely across multiple projects. To learn how to create a Custom Field as an Organization Admin, click here.

When making a Steps template, you can add or remove steps as needed. The upcoming page will show you how. Click "Next."
