# Full TestRail Integration Tutorial

With TestFiesta's full TestRail integration, TestRail users are able to migrate their existing TestRail data into TestFiesta in a matter of minutes! Migrating is easy, just follow these simple steps!

<summary>Step 1: Create a project within TestFiesta for the TestRail data.</summary>

First you will need to create a project that you will then designate to transfer the TestRail data into.

<summary>Step 2: Navigate to the integrations tab &#x26; select TestRail.</summary>

To begin the migration process, click on the tab titled "Integrations" located in the tool bar at the top of the application.

<summary>Step 3: Open TestRail, copy the url &#x26; paste it into the URL field within TestFiesta.</summary>

Open TestRail & copy the url in your browser's search bar. The URL structure will be: `https://`**`projectname`**`.testrail.io` where "**projectname**" is variable to your account.

<summary>Step 4: Enter your TestRail username/email.</summary>

If you are unsure what username/email is associated with your TestRail account you can find it under "My Settings" within TestRail.

<summary>Step 5: Create an access token &#x26; paste it within TestFiesta.</summary>

Navigate to "My Settings" > "Users" > "API KEYS" click "Add Key" & add the name of your key i.e. "TestFiesta API Key". Then copy the API key & paste it within TestFiesta in the "Access Token" field. \

Note: be sure to enable the API, see the troubleshooting section below for more details

<summary>Step 6: Enter integration details.</summary>

Assign your integration a name, optional avatar & description. This will help your team identify integrations as you add them.

<summary>Step 7: Add a configuration &#x26; select the TestRail project that will be imported.</summary>

Name your configuration, then select the TestRail project you wish to migrate, then finally select the TestFiesta project you plan to migrate to. \

Repeat this as many times as you need to.\
\
Click "Finish" when ready to finalize the migration.

<summary>Step 8: Wait for TestRail to sync with TestFiesta.</summary>

If you do not see your data immediately, wait 5 minutes for your data to migrate.\

**1) Getting an API error within TestFiesta?** \
\
**Enable the API within TestRail:** Be sure to enable the API from with "Admin">"Site Settings">"API" check both boxes & save settings. Then try again.\

**2) Not seeing your integrated project?**\

Be sure that a project is selected within TestFiesta otherwise if you still do not see your data wait 5 minutes for TestRail to sync. \
